Crispy Orange Chicken 🍗
Tender chicken pieces tossed in a bright, citrusy glaze with a hint of heat, crispy on the outside and sticky-sweet on the tongue.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 2 lbs chicken breast
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3 eggs
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 2 scallions

Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch chunks. Beat 3 eggs in a bowl and mix cornstarch with 1 teaspoon salt.

Dip chicken pieces in egg, then coat with cornstarch mixture. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.

Working in batches, fry chicken until golden brown on all sides, about 8-10 minutes total per batch. Remove and set aside.

In same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, orange juice, and sesame oil. Return chicken to skillet and toss to coat.
