  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 scallions
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup beef stock
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

    Slice beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips. Coarsely crush black pepper.

    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Cook beef in batches for 3-4 minutes per batch. Set aside.
