  • 2 lbs steak
  • 0.25 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp black pepper

    Whisk the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, Worcestershire, Dijon, minced garlic, and pepper, then marinate the steak for at least 20 minutes or up to overnight.

    Set an oven rack 4 inches from the broiler and preheat the broiler on high with a sheet pan inside.

    Pat the steak mostly dry and lay it on the hot pan.

    Broil for 6 minutes, flip, and broil until the center reads 130°F for medium rare, about 5 more minutes.

    Rest the steak under foil for 10 minutes so the juices settle.
