- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Cook the patties in a hot 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat, 4 minutes on the first side.
