Crispy Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast 🥩
Thin-pounded steak coated and fried until golden, served with eggs, toast, and creamy peppery gravy.

- 1.5 lbs thinly sliced beef
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Vegetable oil
- 4 eggs

Pound beef slices thin, about 1/8 inch. Mix flour with salt and pepper on one plate.

Whisk eggs and milk together on another plate. Dredge each steak in flour, shake off excess, then dip in egg mixture, then flour again.

Heat 1/4 inch oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry steaks until golden and crispy, about 3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Pour off all but 2 tablespoons oil from skillet. Sprinkle flour over, stir for 1 minute, then slowly add 1 cup milk while stirring. Simmer until thickened, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Fry 4 eggs in a separate skillet over medium heat until yolks are set, about 4 minutes.
