Chicken Tatsuta Fried Marinated 🍗
Soy-marinated chicken fried until golden and crispy, fragrant with ginger and garlic, a Japanese fried chicken thats tender inside and shatteringly crisp outside.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1.5 lbs Chicken Thigh
- 0.5 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoon mirin
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tablespoon Ginger
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable Oil
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Scallion

Mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, minced garlic, and ginger in a bowl.

Cut chicken thighs into 2-inch chunks and toss in marinade. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.

Drain chicken well, discarding marinade. Dredge pieces in flour, shaking off excess.

Heat 0.5 inch vegetable oil to 350 degrees F. Fry chicken in batches for 5-6 minutes per batch until golden brown and cooked through.
