Beef Queso Dip 🧀
Silky, spicy cheese dip loaded with seasoned ground beef and salsa, made for a big bowl of chips on game day.
Ingredients (serves 6)
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 jalapeño
- 1 bag tortilla chips

Brown the ground beef with the chili powder in a saucepan over medium-high, about 5 minutes, then set aside.

Melt the butter in the same pan, whisk in the flour, and cook 1 minute.

Gradually whisk in the milk and simmer 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.

Off the heat, stir in the cheddar and mozzarella a handful at a time until smooth.
