Mussels in White Wine 🦪
Plump mussels steamed open in garlic-white wine broth, a bistro classic you can make in 15 minutes.

- 1 cup white wine
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 shallot
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 bay leaf

Rinse mussels under cold water and remove any beards. Discard any mussels with broken shells.

Mince garlic and shallot. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.

Sauté shallot and garlic for 1 minute until fragrant, then add white wine and bay leaf.

Add mussels, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the pot occasionally, until mussels open.
