Baked Spaghetti 🍝
Spaghetti and meaty marinara layered with a creamy cheese middle, baked until the mozzarella top is browned and stretchy.
Ingredients (serves 6)
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cups mozzarella
- 1/2 cup parmesan
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp italian seasoning

Heat oven to 375°F. Boil the spaghetti in salted water until just shy of al dente, about 8 minutes, then drain.

Brown the ground beef with the diced onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat, about 7 minutes, then stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and marinara. Simmer 5 minutes.

Stir the softened cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth.

Toss the spaghetti with half the meat sauce and spread half of it in a greased 9x13 dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture over it, add the remaining spaghetti, then the rest of the sauce.

Top with the mozzarella and parmesan and bake at 375°F until browned and bubbling, 25 minutes. Rest 5 minutes before cutting.
