Cherry Pie 🍒
Deep ruby filling of tart cherries beneath a classic double crust, a dramatic and delicious summer centerpiece.
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 6 cups Cherries
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 3 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Almond Extract
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 lb Butter
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs

Make pie dough with flour, cold butter, and salt; divide in half, wrap, and chill 30 minutes.

Pit cherries. Toss with both sugars, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, and almond extract.

Roll out one dough and line a 9-inch pie pan. Add cherry filling.
