Apple Pie 🥧
Tart and sweet apples spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, baked in a flaky double crust, the American classic.
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 2 pie crusts
- 6 apples, peeled and sliced
- 0.75 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0.25 teaspoon nutmeg
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place one pie crust in a 9 inch pie pan.

Toss apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice. Let sit for 15 minutes.
