Banana Cream Pie 🍌
Creamy vanilla custard with fresh banana slices and whipped cream in a tender crust, a diner favorite.
Ingredients (serves 8)
- 1 prebaked Pie Crust
- 2 cups Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3 Eggs
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 4 Banana
- Whipped Cream

Prebake pie crust at 375°F for 12 minutes until light golden.

Whisk together milk, sugar, flour, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens, about 8 minutes.

Whisk egg yolks in a bowl. Slowly add hot filling while whisking. Return to pan and cook 2 minutes.
